The Laboratory & Production Cleaning Aide will work with Ecovia’s R&D and production teams, playing a vital role in maintaining a clean and efficient work environment at Ecovia’s biopolymer production facility. A successful candidate will manage weekly laboratory and production equipment cleaning activities, contributing to the overall operation of the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Collect, clean, and organize laboratory glassware.
• Clean and sanitize pilot-scale production equipment.
• Assist with other tasks as needed towards maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with Ecovia personnel to ensure that cleaning & organization needs are met.
• Perform basic maintenance and production tasks when required.

• Strong organization skills and attention to detail & safety.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills to work with a diverse group of lab personnel.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

• Prior experience working in a laboratory or biochemical production setting is preferred
