Renaissance Venture Capital, a fund of funds that supports the growth of venture capital investment in the Midwest, publishes a semi-annual “Hotlist” of top, early-stage Michigan startups that are seeking venture capital investment.  In 2025, Ecovia made the list, cited for its biobased and biodegradable polymers that replace synthetics in an array of applications while lowering GHGs and microplastics.

Ecovia was among just 50 high potential startups recommended by Renaissance and its partners including universities, incubators, accelerators, etc.
